Client: Private Residence


This new residence is designed to provide more than 4000sf of luxurious, light-filled living spaces, in addition to a racquetball court and dance studio below grade. The design is contextual in material and scale, and also unique in its approach to fenestration, roofscape, and interior planning. The unusual roof form results from the demands of the zoning sub-district, yet despite very tight constraints, three childrens rooms and a lofty master suite are nestled just-so underneath the eccentric slopes. The home will include a generous foyer, open-plan living and dining rooms with catwalks and elevated landings for addressing assembled guests, an extra large kitchen with built-in seating and play areas, guest suites, a home office, two roof decks, and surprising volumes of space throughout.
