New luxury residential construction in the heart of Manhattan's Tribeca Historic District.

New construction in the Historic District of Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood poses an interesting challenge: how to make a modern, forward-looking contribution to the streetscape and community while respecting the textures, scale and "feel" of the Landmark District. We worked in close coordination with The Landmarks Commission to fine-tune the balance between an industrial and residential sensibility, reimagining the combination of glass, steel and brick to evoke cast-iron warehouses without slavishly duplicating them.
