This interior design project for an Upper East Side apartment transforms a residence within a 1927 building into a sophisticated contemporary home defined by contrast, craftsmanship, and a carefully curated material palette. Working alongside Lichten Craig Architects, who led the complete gut renovation, The Turett Collaborative developed interiors that balance the character of the historic building with a calm, modern sensibility.

A layered composition of grays and greiges establishes a refined backdrop for dark mirrored surfaces, richly stained woods, and finely crafted leather finishes.
