This November 9 – 11th The Turett Collaborative will be participating in the International Passive House Open days with a very exciting project – Wayne Turett’s very own recently completed Passive House in Greenport, New York. Passive House buildings are characterized by excellent thermal insulation, triple glazed windows, and a ventilation system with heat recovery among other things. Passive House buildings are highly energy efficient and quality is noticeably better than in conventional buildings due to the high powered filters used in a Passive House ventilation system. Passive House isn’t just an energy standard, it’s a standard of luxury.
