What is The Turett Collaborative?

We are a New York-based architecture and interior design firm founded in 1991. You can read more about our origin here. Our team is led by founder Wayne Turett, RA, partners Simeon Seigel, RA, James Saisakorn, RA, Alex Nizhikhovskiy, RA, and Director of Interior Design Jessica Shaw.

 

What services does The Turett Collaborative offer?

Our firm is made up of experienced architects and design professionals who offer architectural design, residential & commercial interior design, residential & commercial project development,

historical renovation, construction administration, facility master planning, space planning, and more. Please see our “Services” page for a full list of services.

 

Where are The Turett Collaborative’s projects?

Our projects, which range from interior architecture to new construction, are primarily located in Manhattan, specifically Tribeca, Greenwich Village, Battery Park, Soho, West Village, Chelsea, the Upper East Side, and the Upper West Side. We have also completed projects in California , The North Fork of Long Island, the Hamptons. We are open to projects regardless of location, and encourage you to reach out HERE.

 

Does The Turett Collaborative offer sustainable architecture and interior design?

We design with sustainability and wellbeing in mind for every project we take on, and consider sustainability in our material selections, product specs, and construction process. For some projects, such as our Greenport Passive House, we design with Passive House standards in mind. You can learn more about our green initiatives here.

 

Can The Turett Collaborative make my home or building more sustainable / green?

Our firm has worked on adding Passive House-inspired elements to existing structures to improve insulation and increase a home’s energy efficiency. These processes can often lead to lower electricity bills and better indoor air quality, among many other benefits. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have an interest in making green changes to your home.

 

How do I know if I need an architect or interior designer?

The best way to find out if our firm’s services are right for you and your project is to reach out, share what you know about your project goals. From there, we will review your message and reach out for an introductory meeting if we see fit.
